Alex Lee is also the parent company of Lowes Foods, which includes nearly 85 full-service grocery stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. In addition, Alex Lee, Inc. is the parent company of W. Lee Flowers & Company, which operates approximately 60 IGA and KJ’s Market grocery stores and provides wholesale distribution to supermarkets.
Each month, we will share resources vital to our communities and helpful for businesses. The feature of this month is the Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) Small Business Center.
The CVCC Small Business Center provides confidential business counseling at no cost to start-ups and small business owners in areas such as business planning, identifying funding options, marketing assistance, web design, and more. Take a chance and become an entrepreneur! The Small Business Center is there to help you get started and to help existing small businesses expand, which increases the number of businesses and jobs in our community.
