Business Resources

Our vacant building inventory (YouTube Thumbnail)

Each month, we strive to share resources vital to our communities and helpful for businesses. The feature of this month is the Commercial Vacant Building Inventory Dashboard.

City staff maintain an inventory of vacant and underutilized buildings within the Hickory city limits and extra-territorial jurisdiction. This inventory provides essential information about vacant buildings to allow staff to help with marketing these properties for occupancy or redevelopment. If you are looking for a commercial property for sale or rent, this dashboard is a great resource for that purpose. The inventory contains detailed property information for each vacant building. Where available, a photo of the building and real estate contact information are also included.

For more vacant building information, please contact the City of Hickory Office of Business Development at 828-323-7422 or email our team.
