Calling All Outdoor Enthusiasts! We Need Your Input. 🌲🚣♂️🏃♀️
The Creating Outdoor Recreation Economies (C.O.R.E.) team, the City of Hickory, and Alexander County Parks are preparing for the inaugural 2027 Lake Hickory Dash & Splash Festival, and we’re turning to the community to help shape it.
Our goal is to create a fun, safe, memorable, and truly community-driven event. To do that, we’d love to hear from the people who know the outdoors best—you! Whether you’re a runner, paddler, volunteer, or just someone who loves being outside, your voice matters.
Below is a short survey to gather opinions on course design, event experience, and more.
Your input will help shape an event that the whole region can be proud of. Thank you for supporting the Hickory region outdoor recreation community (C.O.R.E.)!
As part of the Office of Business Development’s ongoing outreach, we’re launching new opportunities to connect directly with local businesses. We want to hear your ideas, thoughts, and feedback. Ready to share your perspective? Schedule a meeting with us here.
