We held our very first CORE Hackathon in April, and what a night it was. Lenoir-Rhyne University students rose to the challenge, delivering real, actionable marketing plans in just 48 hours. The presentations were impressive, the Q&A was lively, and the networking in between made it clear just how much talent, energy, and collaborative spirit exists in this community.
Then we joined the Outdoor Business Alliance in Asheville, North Carolina, to represent the city at their Get in Gear Fest. It was a great opportunity to connect with businesses and promote Hickory’s trails and amenities to the outdoor enthusiast community.
