Sails Original Music Series

The City of Hickory's Sails Original Music Series returns to downtown Hickory this spring and fall, presenting free concerts of live original music under The Sails on the Square. Performances will begin at 7 p.m., Friday evenings in May, June, and September. Click the button below to check out the full band lineup.

2024 Human Relations Awards

The City of Hickory Community Relations Council (CRC) honored the recipients of the CRC’s Human Relations Awards during the Hickory Multicultural Festival held in downtown Hickory on April 27. Congratulations to this year’s two award recipients, Molly Rice and Ridgeview Recreation Center.

The Hickory Youth Council is currently recruiting new members for the 2024-2025 school year. The Hickory Youth Council is a vibrant group of 30 high school students who represent the youth of Hickory and provide input to the Hickory City Council on youth issues.
