Hickory women ages 60+ are invited to participate in the first Women’s 60+ Doubles Pickleball League! Teams of two will compete at Highland Recreation Center on Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Registration is only $50 for the 5-week season.
Registration for the upcoming volleyball season is open at hickory.recdesk.com until Wednesday, Jan. 14. Girls ages 9-18 can register for our 11U league, 15U league, or our brand-new 18U league. Skills assessments are scheduled for Jan. 26 and Jan. 27. Registration is free for all City of Hickory residents, and only $40 for nonresidents. Holiday Break Pool Party
Kids ages 7-12 are invited to a Holiday Break Pool Party on Friday, Jan. 2, at 8:30 a.m. They will play games at Highland Recreation Center before traveling to the Watauga Recreation Center to swim in the indoor pool and enjoy a pizza lunch. City of Hickory residents pay only $30, while nonresidents pay $35. Registration is now open.
