Senior Day Trip: The Autumn Experience

Kids of all ages are invited to this free day at the annual Kidfest on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kiwanis Park. Families can make crafts, play games, get faces painted, and stop by vendor booths. This event is sponsored by The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center, Kiwanis Club, and Taylorsville Savings Bank. Homeschool PE
Homeschool P.E. is back in full swing this fall! Designated to promote physical fitness and social interaction, Homeschool P.E. will start on Sept. 18 and be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. at Highland Recreation Center.
Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball
Dink, smash, and glow! Wear your brightest neon gear and light up the night with Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball! This will take place at Highland Recreation Center on Saturday, Sept. 20, and starts at 8 p.m. Spots are filling fast, register today!
Join fellow riders for an unforgettable journey along the Virginia Creeper Trail. A breathtaking ride through stunning scenery perfect for bike enthusiasts. We will meet at Highland Recreation Center on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7 a.m. before heading out. Do not miss this chance to connect, ride, and experience the trail like never before! Spots are limited.
The second annual Ruff, Ruff, Run 5K & Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, at Winkler Park. The 5K race begins at 11 a.m. and is designed for runners to bring their dogs on a challenging 5K course. Runners, spectators, and four-legged friends can also enjoy a pup-friendly festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The festival will have food trucks, music, dog vendors, and dog obedience demonstrations. A special version of dog yoga will be held at 12:30 p.m.
